We are working on the Astrobiology Primer 3.0 which will be hosted as a living document and will be updated periodically. This is a grassroot effort driven by graduate students and postdoctoral researchers who wanted to provide a comprehensive introduction to the field of astrobiology.
The Primer is intended to be a resource not only for early-career scientists who are new to astrobiology but also anyone who is interested in astrobiology.
This version is an update of the Primer 2.0 published in 2016. The first version was published in 2006.
